Welcome to Dieckmann Cattle for our annual spring sale. We have had many visitors and would like to thank everyone of you who has taking the time out of your busy schedule to do so, we know this time of year gets tough. We are offering our very best out of proven cows that have had success. These calves have had many full sibs win at the highest of levels.

The calves are up to date on all shots and vaccines and will continue to be cared for and have creep all summer. All calves are expected to be picked up by September 1st and 50% of purchase price will be expected at the conclusion of the sale and remaining amount at pick up.

Dieckmann Cattle will retain the right to 2 successful flushes of a minimum 6 embryos at the seller’s expense and buyers convenience on all heifers. There is not guarantee on fertility or disposition on any animal in the sale.

​All calves in the sale are being sold as STEERS and will be cut the middle of May. If you wish to keep any calf a bull, please talk to Quentin on the terms and conditions, Dieckmann Cattle will retain 1/3rd semen interest and will give no guarantee of any kind. We retain the exclusive DNA Cell Line on all calves selling.

Thank you for viewing our 2024 spring sale. These calves offered are some of our absolute very best.  As we travel across the county looking at the new baby calf crop we would much rather see them unclipped. So that is how we are going to sell them to you, unclipped and unfit. These calves however have been given a few baths and are broke to tie.

All calves are considered healthy at the time of the sale and sell as is with but no guarantee on fertility, disposition or soundness. All calves will be vaccinated, castrated and dehorned at the seller’s expense. Any cosmetic dehorn must be done after pick up and at the buyers expense.

50% of the purchase price will be expected at the conclusion of the sale and the remaining amount is due before the animal is picked up. All animals are on creep and will remain on creep until the animal is picked up no later than September 1^st 2024.

In the unlikely event the calf dies before being picked up the buyer will be given their money back. If the animal is not picked up by September 1^st the sale is voided and no money will be reimbursed.

We retain the right to two successful flushes with a minimum of 6 embryos per flush.

Welcome to the 2024 HSW Eastern Spring Pasture Sales. The three farms in these sales,

 Huck Show Cattle, Waterford, Ohio, Sharp Farms and Cattle, Beloit, Ohio and Watson Cattle Company, Sarahsville, Ohio, are very proud of the calves we have to offer. Calves coming from these farms have competed and won on both the local and national levels. In just the last two years, calves from these farms have been Grand or Reserve at the following: Grand Steer in Oklahoma at the OYC, Grand Steer Ohio Beef Expo, Res. Market Heifer NWS Denver, Grand Market Heifer Illinois Beef Expo, Champion Market Heifer Keystone, Champion Steer Cattlepalooza, Grand Steer Ohio AGS, Grand Steer WVU Block and Bridle, Grand Charolais Steer Iowa State Fair, Grand Steer West Virginia State Fair, Grand Steer VCCP, Reserve Steer King of the Ridge Showdown, Reserve Steer at WVU Block and Bridle, as well as numerous Grand and Reserves at multiple County Fairs.

This is a spring pasture sale. Calves can be viewed at the farms anytime. Please let us know you are coming. Your bid must be in on any calf by sundown on May 5th. All calves will start at $2000.00 and progress in $250.00 increments to $10,000.00 then increments of $500.00. Once you are in on a calf, you can jump to any other calf you wish. Bidding will be done by text messaging and handled by each individual farm. You will have 24 hours to respond to your bidding turn, and then you will be passed over. You can still get back in, you will just lose your turn if you do not respond within 24 hours. 

Calves will be castrated, vaccinated, wormed, and weaned according to the buyer's wishes. All calves will be on creep feed till weaning.

Special Note: All embryos and Semen must be claimed and shipped within 45 days of the sale closing. If they are not claimed and shipped within 45 days of the sale. All embryos and Semen in question will go back to the seller and the buyer will forfeit what they paid.
