TERMS OF SALE: Terms of the sale are cash, check, or wire transfer, payable to Reed Vestal Ranches, LLC, due immediately at the conclusion of the sale. A secure form of payment must be received before any and all cattle are loaded. Printed information on sale day takes precedence over any information stated prior to via websites, social media outlets, etc. Every effort has been made to ensure accuracy within the sale notes and comments. All cattle are sold “as-is” with no implied guarantee of soundness or fertility. We reserve the right to reject any and all bids.
REGISTRATION: A few females in the offering are eligible for registration papers from their respective breed associations. Reed Vestal Ranches will accommodate if and when needed to help secure such documents.
RETAINED INTEREST and GENETICS: Unless stated differently in the individual female’s sale comments, Reed Vestal Ranches and/ or any affiliates related to each individual female reserves the right to two (2) successful flushes (six (6) grade 1 transferable embryos per flush) at the buyer/owner’s convenience and Reed Vestal Ranches expense for Lots 32 and 33. Reed Vestal Ranches will retain 1/2 embryo interest on Lot 36. Flushing for such lot will be at the buyer/new partner’s convenience and Reed Vestal Ranches’ expense. If buyer/new partner is not interested in flushing the female, then Reed Vestal Ranches continues reserves the right to do so at their convenience. Reed Vestal Ranches will retain 1/2 embryo interest and negotiable possession on Lots 34 and 35. If buyer/new partner is not interested in flushing the female, then Reed Vestal Ranches continues reserves the right to do so at their convenience. If any of the lots are resold, Reed Vestal Ranches continues to retain their interests, and rights to flush(es).
Reed Vestal Ranches and/ or any affiliates retain the exclusive DNA, Cell Line, and Cloning rights on all animals sold. Buyer shall not unreasonably withhold Reed Vestal Ranches from access anytime after the sale of the animal. This will be strictly enforced, with no exceptions.
INSURANCE: We strongly encourage everyone to take out some form of insurance for their purchases to insure nothing happens from sale time to the time they are settled into your operation. If you need any help in this matter please call or text Reed and/or Christian and they can get you in contact with multiple reliable outfits to assist you with insurance.
TRUCKING: Please do not let transportation stop you from bidding. We will make every effort to help assist in lining up trucking to any and all parts of the country. We will recommend several battle tested hauling outfits to get your purchase to you in a reasonable, timely fashion. We also have two separate estimated drop offs in separate parts of Texas. Call for more information.
All bidding and payments are in US Dollars. All funds are to be made payable(personal or corporate check, cashier check, or money order are all acceptable) to STEERBIDDER, 308 Ilion Ave, Chariton, IA 50049; contact Ashlynn Rosa, 515-360-3229, to confirm payment arrangements. Full payment must be received before any lots can leave the property. YOUR CREDIT CARD USED TO REGISTER WILL NOT BE AUTOMATICALLY CHARGED. YOU ARE GIVEN THE OPTION TO SEND PAYMENT. If paying via PAYPAL, an additional 3% processing fee must be applied. Transportation/Shipping costs will be in addition to sale price and will be coordinated with the sellers.
Payment and/or payment arrangements must be coordinated within 1 week of the sale date. Credit card payments will be assessed a 3% fee.
INVOICING: An invoice with payment instructions will be sent to each buyer's registered email address within 24 hrs of the sale ending. If an invoice is not received, please call Ashlynn Rosa 515-360-3229.
DELIVERY OF PURCHASES AND FEES: Each buyer is responsible to coordinate delivery OR shipping and buyer is to cover all cost of shipping. Purchases may be picked up after full payment is received.
CONDITIONS: Any person placing bids on items in this auction agrees to these terms and conditions and understands that, by placing bids, they are entering into a binding contract between themselves and the seller(s) and that they will be held financially responsible for their actions.
Placing a bid is a binding contract between you and the Owner/Seller, and the bid cannot be retracted. Once a Bidder places a bid, and the bid is the high/winning bid, the Bidder will be obligated to buy the lot at the said price indicated. Placing a bid on this online auction site, and winning, then not paying for the lot is illegal in most states, and prosecution can result.
The Owner/Seller of property sold through this online auction site reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
As a Bidder, you are responsible for any bids placed by you or a designated representative under your bidding number and password. The security of your Bidder information is your sole responsibility and the Bidder will be responsible for any and all bids placed under the assigned number. If, at any time, you feel that your Bidder number and password have been compromised you must notify Auctioneer immediately.
Bidders agree that when using the Maximum Bid feature on our online auction web site they will use it according to the terms and conditions applicable to that feature. Please note that when using the Maximum Bid feature, if you are the current high Bidder and you want to change your Maximum Bid, you will be required to place a new bid in the increment designated for that lot in order to raise your Maximum Bid, which may cause you to raise your last high bid by one bid increment. You, as a Bidder, understand and agree to how the Maximum Bid feature works if you choose to use it.
BID RETRACTIONS: There are no bid retractions. ALL BIDS ARE NON-CANCELLABLE ONCE SUBMITTED. Once a bid is made and confirmed, it cannot be retracted. When a bid is made you manifest your intent and ability to buy the lot at the bid price. A false or fraudulent bid may result in legal action. Any winning Bidder who refuses to purchase the lot may be banned from all future online auctions.
Despite efforts to avoid the withdrawal of lots from the auction sale after they are listed, it may sometimes be necessary to withdraw lots, therefore, the Owner/Seller reserves the right to do so at any time before or during the sale.

HORSE RACE STYLE CLOSING FORMAT FOR THIS SALE! WHEN TIME EXPIRES, ALL LOTS ARE DECLARED SOLD!
ORIGINAL ENDING TIME: 8 PM CST WITH EXTENDED BIDDING TO FOLLOW. EXTENDED BIDDING WILL CONTINUE UNTIL THERE IS NO BIDDING FOR 4 MINUTES.
With this option, all lots will close simultaneously. A few benefits to this style of auction - Buyer has the CHOICE to switch to any lot in the offering if he is outbid on his current choice; buyer does not have to deal with the "seller's order" of sale because all lots are offered and bid on simultaneously; and the buyer has true choices and more time to make decisions.
Extended Bidding means that the auction is not declared closed until there have been FOUR minutes of inactivity on this sale. If there is any bidding during the inactivity period, the auction is extended until there is no bidding for FOUR minutes during the inactivity period. You can always check the time remaining, the information appears under each lot. For this sale, the extended bidding period is 4 minutes.
**Example 1: Auction closes at 6 PM. There is no bidding from 5:56 PM to 6 PM. All lots are declared closed and the sale ends at 6 PM.
**Example 2: Auction closes at 6 PM. There is a bid placed at 5:57 PM. Auction is extended by 4 minutes. No more bidding occurs. All lots are declared closed and the sale ends at 6:01 PM.
**Example 3: Auction closes at 6 PM. There is a bid placed at 5:57 PM. Auction is extended by 4 minutes until 6:01 PM. Another bid is placed at 6:00 PM. No more bids are placed. All lots are declared closed and the sale ends at 6:04 PM.
