Welcome to Hovden Cattle Company for my inaugural spring sale. I have spent several years building my donor battery and with the recent success of Whitey & other donors I feel now is the right time to have my first pasture sale. I would like to say thank you to everyone who has called, texted, and/or travel to view calves! If you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out!

The calves are up to date on all shots and vaccines and will continue to be cared for and have creep all summer. All calves are expected to be picked up by September 1st. 25% of the purchase price will be expected at the conclusion of the sale and remaining amount at pick up.

Hovden Cattle Company will retain the right to 2 successful flushes of a minimum 6 embryos/flush at the seller’s expense and buyers convenience on all heifers. There is no guarantee on fertility, disposition, or soundness on any animal in the sale.

All calves in the sale are being sold as STEERS and will be cut the middle of May. If you wish to have your calf sheared out or keep any calf a bull, please talk to Jake on the terms and conditions, Hovden Cattle Company will retain 1/3rd semen interest and will give no guarantee of any kind. If calf gets seriously injured or dies before pickup date buyer will be refunded their 25%. We retain the exclusive DNA Cell Line on all calves selling.
