DAVID BRIDGES CATTLE "SETTING THE STANDARD" ONLINE SALE 6/6/24

Welcome to the Inaugural David Bridges Cattle Co. / Edwards Farm Sale.
Great show heifers usually come from great cow families, and these are no exception. In the Fall
of 2019 we identified what we thought was the best Angus Cow in the country at producing show cattle,
and went to Seldom Rest Farms in Niles, Michigan and bought an awesome EXAR Classen daughter out
of Silveiras S Sis Sandy 2354. 2354 is the Maternal Grandam of the Angus heifers in this sale.
2354 is the dam of 5 National Champion daughters; she has generated over $3 million dollars in direct
progeny sales, and she was the 2013 National Junior Angus Show Grand Champion Bred and Owned
Female herself.

Our Classen daughter (dam of these sale heifers) is Seldom Rest Sandy 9037 (Reg #19506208).
Full sisters to 9037 brought $85,000, $72,500 and $67,000 at the Seldom Rest 2023 Fall Sale.
A full sister to 9037 produced a $250,000 daughter at that same sale.
Full sisters to the 24 Karat daughters in this sale brought $170,000, $50,000, $35,000 and $19,000
in the 2022 and 2023 Seldom Rest Farms Sales. One of those sisters (Sandy 2030) went on to become
Supreme Champion Female at the 2024 Cattlemen’s Congress.
We feel very confident that these heifers will not only compete at a high level in the show ring, but can
also be great producers as cows.

FLUSHES

Edwards Farm reserves a conventional  flush(es) to obtain a minimum of ten Grade 1 or 2 embryos, at our expense, on all females selling.  

We also retain, at our expense, the opportunity to obtain a DNA cell line for cloning purposes on all females selling.
