Welcome to L Chachere Cattle's first Bred Female Sale! We are very excited about the set of cattle we are offering. The thought of having a bred female sale has been on my mind for the past few years. It was a very difficult decision to offer our bred heifers up for grabs. The past few years we have been successful with the calves of first calf heifers we raised. We have branded a few first calf heifer calves, including a lightweight American at 2025 Fort Worth. We also raised a class winning Chi heifer at San Antonio out of a first calf heifer we raised. We have sold show calves off our first calf heifers for $4500 plus the past two years. We would be willing to help market their calves next spring.

The calving dates are only approximate dates and are as accurate as possible. These females were NOT ultrasound for early pregnancy detection. All of the bred females in this offering were preg checked a final time on 5/16/25 and determined to be 'safe in calf'. The bred females in this sale have been palpated 'safe in calf', deemed healthy and sound by a licensed veterinarian and sell with no further guarantees. We cannot guarantee the delivery of a live calf. If they calve before August 28, 2025, I'd say they are likely AI bred, if they calve after that date, I'd say they are clean-up bred to UB137. The age at calving of these females will range from 22 to 30 months. We did not intend to have a bred female sale when we were breeding, as I do not mind calving younger females. If this is a concern for you, please do NOT purchase a younger female in our sale. We are truly blessed and humbled to be able to offer these females that were raised right here in Dayton, TX(exception of HL655). Several of the dams to these females we raised right here at LCC, with some being multi-generational. We are very proud of this and the caliber of females we are offering.

At the conclusion of the sale, the bred female is the property of the new owner. We highly suggest insuring your purchases immediately following the sale. We are not responsible for any loss or injury that occurs after the sale has concluded. We will continue to monitor the health of every female in the sale for up to 10 days. A fee of $30 per head per day will begin after 10 days unless other arrangements have been made. Buyer is responsible for delivery arrangements. Load out is from Dayton, TX. Semen and embryos purchased in our sale must be claimed by July 1, 2025 or they will again become the property of L Chachere Cattle with no refund given. Please note that we reserve(retain) the right to two successful flush or IVF cycle(6 transferrable embryos or more) on any female in the sale, unless otherwise stated in the lot comments(some lots we are only selling 50% embryo interest). We retain the exclusive DNA and cloning rights to any lot sold in this sale. No female in this sale has been ran on an IVF cycle. The bred heifers have never been flushed or aspirated. The ONLY lot in this offering that has been flushed is HL655, please see the comments on HL655 lot. The bred cows we are offering in this sale are in their prime and we feel they could be donors in many programs. They are in the sale because I get asked constantly, "why haven't you flushed this female or what bulls have you flushed her to?" My answer is simple, we have accumulated too many high quality cows and we simply cannot flush them all.
