Welcome to the Josh Streitmatter Cattle Fall Bid-Off!

We’re excited to offer this set of calves and appreciate your interest in our program. Please note: this is a Phone/Bid Board style sale — all final bidding will be conducted by phone, not online.

Here’s how it works:

• Bids Close: All initial bids must be placed by September 14th at dark.
• Who Can Bid: As long as you’ve placed a bid on a calf before closing, you remain eligible to stay in on that lot. You do not need to be the highest bidder when the board closes.
• Phone Bid-Off: In the days following, we will call bidders in the order bids were placed. You’ll have the chance to either:
• Stay in at the next asking bid, OR
• Step out if you’re done bidding.
• Final Buyer: Bidding continues until only one bidder remains. That person is the final buyer of that calf.
• Drop-Down Option: If you get outbid on your top choice, you may drop down into another lot as we bid them off from highest to lowest closing bid.

ALL CATTLE SELL AS IS WITH NO IMPLIED GUARANTEE OF DISPOSITION, SOUNDNESS, OR OTHERWISE AFTER THEY LEAVE JSC, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF BREEDING HEIFERS WHO ARE GUARANTEED TO PRODUCE AT MINIMUM VIA IVF. CATTLE ARE FULLY VACCINATED AND ARE BROKE TO TIE.  ::  WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO RETAIN 2 SUCCESSFUL FLUSHES WITH A MINIMUM OF 6 GRADE 1 EMBRYOS ON ALL FEMALES SOLD.  ::  ALL CATTLE MUST BE PAID FOR IN FULL PRIOR TO PICKUP/DELIVERY UNLESS PREVIOUS ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE BETWEEN BUYER AND SELLER.   ::  UPON SALE CLOSE, BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PICKUP OF PURCHASE WITH 14 DAYS. FOLLOWING DAY 14, CATTLE WILL INCUR A $10/DAY FEE FOR HOUSING AND FEED UNLESS PREVIOUS ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE BETWEEN BUYER AND SELLER.
