Thank you for taking a look at our Top of the Crop Bred Heifer Sale. These are all of the heifers we retained to breed in 2022, they truly are the top of the crop. There is a lot of cow power in this set. This is a diverse group of females that represent over 40 years of AI and ET work. As a group, they are the highest quality and we're confident that they're ready to go to work.
Heifers were bred for a tight calving window and ultrasounded for expected due dates. Heifers are current on vaccinations.
Heifers were pasture exposed to really good, LBW Angus bulls selected heavily on calving ease.
The Herefords are bred to a good Polled Hereford bull from Jensen Brothers.
The heifers leave Gabel Farms guaranteed bred when they leave, with no other guarantees.
We do all we can to help arrange for transportation to get the heifers to a central location in a timely manner.
All purebred Hereford heifers sell with registration papers. Any other heifers that qualify for papers from various breed associations will be provided at our expense if heifers sell for more than $4,000. Otherwise, the papers on eligible heifers will be made available at buyer's expense.
