COMMENTS:One of the most interesting Maine influenced bulls we have ever been around. The buzz around Patròn came to life after the debut of his daughters this past winter in the Dakota Classic. We haven’t been more excited about a group of females to get into production then these ones, and feel that he will be grouped with the maternal legends of the business once they mature. This 5/8ths Maine is one of the most impressive creatures we have seen from a mass and shape standpoint. Truly one that you need to inspect in person, because it’s difficult to realize just how wide and dimensional he is unless you see it for yourself. With that in mind he is incredibly athletic and flexible in motion, and has the soft body style that we admire from the sire group. Maternally he stems from a cow family that has been a potent base in the Maine business, his maternal grand dam, BK Xaria 022, was the Grand Champion Open and Junior Maine Anjou Female at the 2012 Fort Worth Stock Show. We plan to utilize this stud in herd, and see potential for promotion in due time, as his type and kind remind us of his sire, with the advantage of an upgrade in percentage to always make Maintainers.
