 | 1 | TAG R51 STEER SIRE:TAKE ME TO CHURCH DAM:ECC 730 (SOLID GOLDX NEWMAN CHAR) BREED:SLICK SHEAR CHAROLAIS CROSS DOB:AUGUST COMMENT:First off, we just want to say thank you for clicking on us to view our set, we’re extremely proud of the group we’ve put together! With that said, we couldn’t think of a better way to start this sale off than with this creature! Striking presence with the right kind of slicking shape. We bred heavy to Take Me To Church this year, and this is what we envisioned them looking like: round bodied, broad pinned, with the build that can make the long haul! Bid with confidence! | 2 | TAG 539 STEER SIRE:RED ROCKY DAM:ECC 458 (RED HAWK X JPJ) BREED:DUAL PURPOSE SHORTHORN DOB:AUGUST COMMENT:Red hided cattle are the craze, and we think this guy fits right in with the best of them!! Slick or haired, he’s got the right kind of rib cage and shape needed to compete, with the added intangibles of presence and build quality essential for making a statement in the Shothorn breed. It’s not easy making them with this kind of cushion and comfort at the ground. I’ve loved this calf from the jump, come see for yourself! SELLERS:EMBRY CATTLE COMPANY - BRANT EMBRY 254-744-5200 - DAVID GROSCHKE 979-251-2255 VIDEO | Completed | 5****2 25 bids | $11,500.00 | Bidding complete ECC | |
 | 3 | TAG B190 STEER SIRE:IN GOD WE TRUST DAM:ECC 6065 (WISE CRACK X TEJANO) BREED:SHEARING AMERICAN DOB:SEPTEMBER COMMENT:We’ve showcased the successes of our famed 6065 cow, and she sure didn’t let up this go round. This mating consistently stamps ‘em with that outlier shape and power, but this guy takes it to the next level with his extra stretch and image from the side. This one reminds me the most of the one that won the simbrahs at SA a few years ago. I read this one as a heavyweight that will be tough to beat come next spring! SELLERS:EMBRY CATTLE COMPANY - BRANT EMBRY 254-744-5200 - DAVID GROSCHKE 979-251-2255 VIDEO | Completed | 1****1 61 bids | $40,000.00 | Bidding complete ECC | |

This chrome calf is no different, folks!! Whiskey barrel ribbed and square hipped, with that splash of color that’s to die for. Take him to Fort Worth or slick him and run him Maine or black cross at the slick shows. Love this calf! | 5 | TAG O83 STEER SIRE:WHITE WALKER DAM:BVCC 235 BREED:SHEARING ABC/GERT DOB:SEPTEMBER COMMENT:The year of BlackVestal Donor 235 is HERE! She started off the year with a $19,000 Take Me to Church red baldy heifer, and boy did she hit it out of the park with this trio of steers in this offering. Lot 5 is a full sib to Lot 17, and maternal sib to Lot 10, in addition to being a maternal sib to 3 Banner hangers at Texas Majors! Love this calf’s underline, muscle shape, and how good his neck and chest sit up in him. We think this perfect colored White Walker (IGWT x HL 100) makes an incredible slick shearing calf, and has an awesome attitude to top it off. Beautiful headed with virtually no throat or chest, and for him to still be that boxy middled and square hipped should make him all-the-more unique come next spring. This is a natural calf out of our 226 donor who has placed several calves at San Antonio and Houston the past couple years. Bid with confidence here, his best days are ahead of him! | 7 | TAG 810 STEER SIRE:AMERICAN RANGER DAM:59C2 X MONOPOLY BREED:SHEARING SIMBRAH/ABC DOB:SEPTEMBER COMMENT:Different speed to the rest of our American entries, but quality is still the same. These rangers consistently feature that extra power and foot size, but this calf’s structure and rib shape is right up my alley. Tack on the extras of balance and symmetry from the side, and all signs point to this guy being a contender when it matters most!!! | 36 | HEAD HONCHO SEMEN SELLING:5 UNITS OF HEAD HONCHO SEMEN SIRE:GRONC (EPIC SON) DAM:ALICE DONOR (FU MAN CHU) DNA:THF PHAF BREED:1/2 MAINE REG #525765 - POLLED COMMENT:“Head Honcho” was raised by the Tlach family at City View Farms. His dam, “Alice”, won the Chi Junior Nationals in 2019 and this bull was a result from her first flush. At the beginning of the year we were able to purchase Head Honcho in the AMAA “Bright Lights Maine Anjou” sale in OKC. To be honest, I had no intentions of going to OKC to buy a bull, but there was no turning back once I saw this unique specimen. Not only does his pedigree fire me up, but he’s also got the EXTRA features and WOW factor to go with it. His elite presence, balance, feet/bone size, flexibility, softness of body, and wild extension up front is what sets him apart. Whether it’s using him on stout TH females to make steers or on maternal bred stuff to make top of the line females, the possibilities are endless with this new sire. Needless to say, we are extremely excited for this one’s future!

 | 38 | HEAD HONCHO SEMEN SELLING:5 UNITS OF HEAD HONCHO SEMEN SIRE:GRONC (EPIC SON) DAM:ALICE DONOR (FU MAN CHU) DNA:THF PHAF BREED:1/2 MAINE REG #525765 - POLLED COMMENT:“Head Honcho” was raised by the Tlach family at City View Farms.
