Welcome to the first inaugural open female sale of Rockin H Genetics of Leedey, OK. I called Chris several months back and asked him about doing this sale. He said, I’ve never really done one quite like this but let’s do it. 

We are offering the top end of our heifers that we have raised no outside cattle are in this sale. Their ages range from August of 2022 to October of 2023. We have spent many years assembling cows that suit our system. Now, it’s time to start offering high quality future donor candidates and future breds that will go out and produce for there new owners.  We are trying something different than most by selling them earlier to give you the opportunity to use them as the new owners see fit. 

We are super excited to bring such special animals to the table. There are several of these girls I can’t believe we are letting go. I believe in the base of our herd and many of these cattle are out of our top donors or soon the be donors that have only had a couple of calves. We feel the heifers range from show steer mommas to some that are more dual purpose cattle. 

Last September we opened up a new flush facility in Leedey, OK partnering up with Transova. We would be willing to house the donors for one IVF cycle at no costs for board if purchased out of the sale. The IVF cost would go to the new owner. 

We would like to encourage everyone to come see the cattle in person if possible. If not reach out to us, we would love to talk about them with you all. There are some exciting things going on around here! Don’t miss out on this opportunity for some elite females.

Welcome to the Inaugural David Bridges Cattle Co. / Edwards Farm Sale.
Great show heifers usually come from great cow families, and these are no exception. In the Fall
of 2019 we identified what we thought was the best Angus Cow in the country at producing show cattle,
and went to Seldom Rest Farms in Niles, Michigan and bought an awesome EXAR Classen daughter out
of Silveiras S Sis Sandy 2354. 2354 is the Maternal Grandam of the Angus heifers in this sale.
2354 is the dam of 5 National Champion daughters; she has generated over $3 million dollars in direct
progeny sales, and she was the 2013 National Junior Angus Show Grand Champion Bred and Owned
Female herself.

Our Classen daughter (dam of these sale heifers) is Seldom Rest Sandy 9037 (Reg #19506208).
Full sisters to 9037 brought $85,000, $72,500 and $67,000 at the Seldom Rest 2023 Fall Sale.
A full sister to 9037 produced a $250,000 daughter at that same sale.
Full sisters to the 24 Karat daughters in this sale brought $170,000, $50,000, $35,000 and $19,000
in the 2022 and 2023 Seldom Rest Farms Sales. One of those sisters (Sandy 2030) went on to become
Supreme Champion Female at the 2024 Cattlemen’s Congress.
We feel very confident that these heifers will not only compete at a high level in the show ring, but can
also be great producers as cows.

        All calves are up to date with shots, vaccines and worming. They will continue on full creep through weaning and pickup. Fifty(50%)percent to be paid at time of sale the remainder at pickup. Planned weaning is mid June with pick up by July 1 . There will be a $20.00 per day charge for feed and yardage after that date.
